I posted this thread here hoping for a better chance of reply. The upload is completed, and took at least 3 hours to upload (during that time, I walked to an antique shop and bought a 78RPM and 2 old coins, from 1918 and 193-something, I also played the Wii, listened to my iPod and also did something personal I'd rather not talk about online). Hence, why I don't usually upload in MPEG-2 format. It BETTER have uploaded fine and it BETTER be PD!

You found a 78? Wow...my dad had a rather large collection due to his having worked in a record store just before he went off to WWII. (He did mention meeting Raymond Scott once.) Unfortunately, most of his 78s were given away many years ago, but I still have a small stack of them that he made himself on his old 78 Recordio record-cutting machine.
As for MPEG-2, I don't care as much anymore since I use Roxio Creator and can convert or burn just about any file format. More often I just save the media files to an external hard drive anyway.
Re: antique shops, I need to visit a few in my area and see if I can find one of those old Kodak 8mm Brownie movie cameras they advertise on Ozzie & Harriet. Not to use but more as a bookshelf decoration.

I have around 20 or so 78RPMs, which isn't bad for a 19-year-old Australia. I see them occasionally at the charity-shops and at the local Antique shop. (the antique shop is about a 12 minute or so walk from where I live. See, I live in a Tourist-trap forrested mountain, which does have some benefits).

I like most anything from the 1950s...except for Queen for a Day, which my grandmother watched and I couldn't stand.
BTW, I just mail-ordered vol 4 of Meet Corliss Archer, since Amazon doesn't seem to want to carry it. I'll let you know what's on it when it arrives.

Cool, I'd really like to know the running times for the episodes. For a syndicated show of the 1950s, I'd accept 23 to 24 minutes. 22 Minutes is pushing it, 21 is dangerous, 20 minutes means that either that somebody edited it or the FCC forgot to watch TV for 4 weeks (remember, it's a sitcom, not a cheap game show), 19 or less would make it Alpha's worse release ever. Volume 1 to 3 are very good as far running times are concerned, though.

Will let you know. We have vols. 1-3 and love the show, a very unique and fun 50s sitcom. I've considered ordering that other set from another distributor which appears to have nearly the whole series, but it's just too expensive for me at almost $40 US.
